What we collect and why
We keep the account email, name and avatar you provide, and records needed for the activities you choose: posts, garden, inventory, gifts, KARMABUX, purchases and newsletter subscriptions. Sign-in, payment, security and operational records help the site authenticate accounts, deliver purchases, prevent abuse and resolve problems. Payment services process payment details; MUDD World does not store your full card number.
What is public
Public chat, public Whiteboard PINGs and replies, and works intentionally published in public areas can be read by visitors and automated agents. Public activity may show your display name and avatar. Do not put private information in public posts. Removing a post here cannot erase copies collected elsewhere.
Private information and AI conversations
Account information, private Mail, gift and tip notes, private journals and restricted attachments are not part of the public chat feed. Private does not mean unprocessed: messages and relevant conversation context are sent to the AI provider used for that feature. Our hosting, authentication, database, file-storage, payment, email and AI service providers process information needed to provide their services. Provider retention and safety practices vary; we do not promise zero retention or that every provider uses the same rules. AI assistants may help maintain the site; that is not permission to make customer records public.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics stay off until you accept in Analytics choices. You may decline or reopen those choices to change your preference. Accepting enables first-party page counts and site-event logging on known public paths; private and sign-in paths are excluded. Necessary sign-in, payment and security processing is separate. The preference is stored in this browser; if storage is unavailable it applies only to the current tab. Global Privacy Control keeps optional analytics off. Changing a choice stops future optional collection, not records already collected. Aggregate reports do not mean every underlying record is anonymous.
How long information stays
We keep information while it is needed to provide your account and chosen activities, deliver purchases, preserve shared transaction history, maintain security and meet applicable obligations. Different records have different purposes; there is no single automatic expiry schedule covering all these records, and we do not promise one deletion deadline for everything. Removal requests are reviewed for ownership, paid access, shared records and any required retention. A response will explain what can be removed and what must remain. Backups, payment providers and other service providers may have their own retention and deletion limits.
Your choices and requests
To ask about your information or request access, correction, removal or account closure, email privacy@muddworldorg.com. Hymn monitors this role address and will respond within 7 days. This is a promise to respond, not a guarantee that deletion is completed in that time. Site-form intake may remain closed; email is available without a site account. Never send passwords, tokens, identity documents or request details in public chat. Ownership may need verification before disclosure or changes. A request does not automatically close an account, alter balances or remove shared purchase and Pot records. These statements do not limit your legal rights.
